Just a few days ago, Epic Games announced that a collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters would be making its debut in Fortnite on October 2. Currently, more details about this partnership with the popular Netflix film have been disclosed.
Demon Rush Mode: What to Expect
HUNTR/X's Rumi, Mira, and Zoey will confront waves of demons in the limited-time Demon Rush mode, which is inspired by Fortnite's Horde Rush mode. Rumi's special sword and Zoey's Golden Bubble Shield will be useful for fending off these demons, and perks based on the film can be acquired between each survival round. This new mode starts on October 2 and run through November 1, perfectly timed with the Halloween period.
New Outfits and Items
Skins, gear, and dance moves from KPop Demon Hunters will hit the Fortnite Shop, and gamers can complete quests from the idols to earn exclusive rewards like Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon. Like so many other characters in Fortnite, the K-pop stars have also been turned into Lego versions, with Lego-style models of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey ready for use.
Options for Creators
Fortnite creators will have fun with the new update as they gain access to movie-themed elements, signature gameplay items, fearsome demon enemies, and the hunter characters. As stated in the announcement, developers can build melee-focused islands or modify their current creations starting Oct. 2.
What’s Next
The arrival of KPop Demon Hunters in Fortnite surely won't be the final news about the hunter group. A sequel is likely, and a prequel could also be in the works.
