Prince William Outlines Plan of 'Change for the Good' Upon Becomes King

William announced that "change is on my agenda – beneficial evolution."

During a remarkably candid conversation, William explained his vision for the crown.

"My intention is to scrutinize traditions," he remarked to Eugene Levy in a royal setting.

He expressed: "My goal is to build a society in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that positively influences society."

Personal Reflections on Press Intrusion

Prince George, his firstborn, who celebrated his 12th birthday in July, is the future monarch.

His other son, Prince Louis, is seven and his daughter, Princess Charlotte, is 10.

William revealed his children did not have mobile phones. It was implied his aim to prevent a repeat of "practices" he and his brother had faced when younger – potentially alluding to media intrusion which affected their mother as well.

"They wanted every bit of detail they could absorb, they infiltrated every aspect of life," he remarked about relentless press coverage from his childhood.

"If such interference is permitted, the harm to domestic harmony is a situation I swore to prevent," he declared.

Balancing Innovation with Heritage

Concerning his transformation vision, the prince explained: "I embrace that and I enjoy that change – it doesn't frighten me. That aspect energizes me, the possibility of implementing reforms."

William specified: "Avoiding drastic alterations, yet adjustments that appear essential."

The prince continued: "I think it's very important that tradition stays, heritage plays a significant role. But, there's also points where you look at tradition and question: 'Does this remain relevant?"

"Is that still the right thing to do? Are we still doing and having the most impact we could be having?'"

Perspective on Future Responsibilities

Upon being questioned if he thought about being king, William replied: "I don't begin each day dwelling on it, because to me, being authentic and being myself guides my conduct."

"Subsequently, you may assign various titles and positions which accompany that status, yet without self-honesty, and faithful to my principles – then it doesn't really matter who you are," the prince asserted.

"My positions and obligations receive earnest attention yet as mentioned previously, avoid being dominated by them – instead master them," the prince summarized.
